01 Who we are

WiseStay Vacation Homes Rental (“WiseStay”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and use to handle your enquiries.

This policy covers the WiseStay public website, its enquiry forms and the related contact and booking journeys described below. Separate booking, guest-registration or owner-service notices may provide additional details when you use those services.

02 Information we collect

• Enquiries: the name, phone number, email address, area of interest and message you submit. Depending on the form, this can include a property’s location, type, bedrooms and furnishing status, or your travel preferences.
• Enquiry context: the page you submitted from, campaign labels included in that page’s link, and a submission identifier that helps prevent duplicate enquiries.
• Booking searches: the arrival and departure dates and number of guests you enter when checking availability.
• Correspondence: information you choose to send to our team by email, telephone or WhatsApp. For careers enquiries, this may include the introduction, CV and attachments you email to us.
• Technical information: connection details such as an IP address and request information processed by hosting services to deliver and protect the website. The enquiry service also uses a temporary identifier derived from an IP address to limit repeated requests.

We save website enquiries when you submit a form. Unfinished drafts and calculator entries are not saved as enquiries. Please keep enquiry messages relevant and do not include passwords, payment card details, identity documents or other sensitive documents.

If you refer another person or property owner, make sure you have permission to share their information. You can start with your own contact details and a general property overview.

03 How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, discuss property services or a stay, record and manage follow-up work, check availability, review a careers introduction and maintain the website’s operation and security.

Where applicable data protection law requires a basis for processing, this may be your consent, steps you request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation. The basis depends on the service and circumstances.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

04 Bookings & other services

Booking a stay. The website checks availability and prices through Hostaway using your selected dates and guest count. Continuing to booking opens an external booking service. Review the notices shown there for details about guest information, payments, cookies and any information shared with WiseStay to manage your reservation.

WhatsApp. Choosing to continue on WhatsApp opens a link with your enquiry text prepared. You decide whether to send the message. Opening the link takes you to WhatsApp, which processes information under its own privacy policy.

Careers. An introduction submitted through the contact form is saved as an enquiry. The separate careers page prepares an email draft. You choose whether to send an email and which CV or other attachments to include; the website enquiry form does not upload attachments.

Owner services. Enquiries about management or owner access use the contact process described here. Information handled inside a separate owner portal or during an ongoing management relationship may be subject to additional service-specific information.

05 Cookies & website features

The current public website’s own scripts do not set advertising or analytics cookies. They do not store unfinished enquiry drafts in browser storage. Browser caching and technical requests still support delivery of pages, fonts, images and other features.

The office map loads map resources from OpenFreeMap when the map approaches the visible part of the page. This connects your browser to that provider, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. Choosing “Get directions” opens Google Maps. Social-media and booking links open the relevant external services, whose cookies and privacy practices are described in their own notices.

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Settings that block external resources may affect features such as the office map or third-party booking services.

06 Who receives information

Saved enquiries are held in WiseStay’s private website database and are accessible only to authorised people who manage enquiries and the website. Providers of hosting, storage, email, communications and booking services process information needed to provide their services.

When our Kommo CRM connection is enabled, new enquiries are also copied to Kommo to organise and follow up on your request. This includes your contact details, message, any property details you submit, and the enquiry’s source and campaign labels.

When you use an external service, such as WhatsApp or a booking platform, that provider may also process information for its own purposes under its own policy. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid request from a competent authority.

07 Storage & retention

Website enquiries are stored in a private server-side database controlled by WiseStay, separate from public website files. Our hosting providers may process this information outside the UAE, including in the United States.

Saved enquiry records do not currently expire automatically. Contact us to ask about the information we hold or to request its removal. If recovery copies are retained, deletion requests need to take those copies into account, as well as any information that must be retained for an applicable legal obligation or an ongoing matter.

Copies held in Kommo are separate from the website database. Requests to correct or remove an enquiry need to cover both records. External CRM, email, communications and booking providers have their own storage locations and retention practices. You can contact us for further information about providers involved in your particular request.

08 Keeping information secure

The enquiry service uses encrypted connections on the hosted website, server-side validation, request limits and restricted database access to help protect submitted information. The database is not directly accessible through the public website. No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

09 Your rights & choices

You can contact us to ask about your personal information, request access or a copy, correct inaccurate information, or request deletion. Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may also have rights to restrict or stop processing, transfer your information, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions, including where information is needed to meet a legal obligation. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Email info@wisestay.ae with “Privacy request” in the subject and tell us what you need. You may also raise a concern with the competent data protection authority where applicable.

10 Children’s information

Website enquiries and booking arrangements should be made by an adult. Please avoid including children’s personal information in a general enquiry. If information about children is needed for a stay, provide it through the relevant booking or guest-registration process when requested.

11 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, our services or our data practices change. The date at the top shows when this version was last updated. Additional information may be provided at the point where we request your details.
